Are You A Minority?
Do you stick out a little bit?
Are you different from most people around you in the way you look, think or act?
Generally, minorities are the group of people who are fewer in number than the main group.
They can be of different religion or race or maybe in any other characteristics.
A minority is anyone who is or thinks differently – it’s not only about race.
We often hear that minorities are suppressed, that they’re oppressed by the majority, etc. But what if these minorities can use their believes, mindset and differences to get an edge over everyone else?
What if being a minority is actually a super power?
Minorities believe in different things and they are in fewer numbers, what if they can be a great entrepreneur as they are different.
What if being a minority, is actually a benefit?
The point to drive home here is that if you’re just like everyone else, you’ll keep up with the status quo. Being different means that you’ll have different outcomes and rewards.
You have to understand that when you start thinking the same as others, you are losing there.
Every creative mind generates different ideas, and being a minority can make you an unstoppable entrepreneur.

Being A Minority Is A Super Power
Think about all of the greats across business and politics:
Steve Jobs, Barack Obama, Elon Musk, etc.
Are any of these people traditionally normal? Or were they all incredibly different from their peers, which led them to attaining their wildest dreams.
To be normal, is to be boring – and the world doesn’t reward normal.
Being different is not something to be ashamed of, but instead, it’s good to step out of the rat race we humans are trapped into. Showing it also makes you stand out, and draws more attention to you, and it makes people want to get to know you more. This world will try to make you more like everyone else, but it’s you who know the power of being different, thinking out of the box, and generating legit ideas that not an average/ same mind can generate.
Instead of worrying about being different, you should worry what if you would be thinking the same as the majority of people are thinking, ever thought what would be the outcome? Yes, you will never generate a good idea, you will never think of a startup that the majority of people never considered.
If you’re just like everyone else, you will achieve the average. Who wants to be average?
When a minority takes a risk – it makes them unstoppable.
Minorities Are Community Focused
Being a minority you should be a source of inspiration to many people around you, what if many people started to think critically just because you envision them a thought that how being a minority will help them. By acknowledging the difference and encouraging personal evaluations, every person even a minority can grow and bring different ideas to the table.
I see people complaining about being mistreated and yet living a life of misery, now suppose what if you step out and think of something that no one has thought about, will it bring a positive change in your life? What do you think?
Other than these things, minorities have a strong sense of community, their communities are taken for granted by different major groups but they don’t understand the power and unity they have when it comes to a problem in any minority group.
These groups do support each other in businesses and provide different valuable insights as well. Being part of such a productive group that always thinks differently provides a competitive age over those major groups who are tired of trying the same startups and failing constantly.
Being like everyone else makes you average. Average people don’t succeed. Be different. Be yourself.
Instead of complaining over different issues, minorities should also work on their youth to promote entrepreneurship and to think of innovative ideas that may bring change in their lives, being a minority can make you an unstoppable entrepreneur.
As Anthony Liccione says that “They say to think within the box, but it’s funny how those in the box never go anywhere, where those outside it, get to see the world.”
